With the creation of the Towson Elks 469 Charity Fund and the launch of the Wine and Dine for Warriors annual fundraiser in 2023, we have been able to greatly expand our support to veterans and their families, including two new programs started in 2025:

  • Army of Hope provides emergency financial assistance to prevent homelessness and promote housing stability, increase accessibility for veterans with disabilities, increase employability, and promote health and wellness.

The Charity Fund also provides scholarships for veterans to attend a variety of activities to assist in their adjustment to civilian life after active-duty service.  These may include hunting and fishing trips, “battle buddies” retreats for groups of veterans who have served together, “family healing” retreats for hero families, and other activities.
